Vision & Mission

1.1 Vision:
Sustainable and profitable use of land and soil resources and protection of soil health.


1.2 Mission:
Preparation of inventory of soil and land resources. Capacity-based classification of land and soil resources. Development of user friendly guidelines, booklets and manuals to ensure optimum utilization of land and soil resources. Problematic soil management. Assistance to all institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture in formulating and implementing sustainable plans for increasing crop production.
